We are pleased to inform you that Shiraz and Shahid Beheshti Universities and SHMEN Inc. are organizing the International Medicinal And Aromatic Plant Symposium simultaneously with the Second Iranian Phytochemistry Conference, in collaboration with the International Society for Horticultural Sciences (ISHS) and the Iranian Society for Horticultural Sciences (IRSHS).

The main aim of the symposium is to provide a common efficient academic platform to the scientists and organizations involved in research on various aspects of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. Marketing and International Business of products, Safety and use of products in alternative medicine and Quality Enhancement Methods will be discussed among scientist and members of many participating industries.

The second aim of the symposium will be providing an opportunity for scientific exchanges in the field of phytochemistry during the Second Iranian Phytochemistry Conference.

Participants include leading scientists and businesses from Europe as well as Americas including Canada and the United States. Our Key note speaker is Dr. Lyle Craker from University of Massachusetts who will be accompanied with many of his colleagues and members of both American Horticultural Sciences and Canadian Society for Horticultural Sciences. Many European scientists are invited to join this event; among them are experts in phytochemistry from Germany, Hungry and Austria.

Iranian scientists along with their international colleagues will collaborate and benefit as they wish to explore the present knowledge on many subjects, and will identify potential areas and issues for future research and study fields.
